Situated close to Manchester City Centre, in the Green Quarter of Cheetham Hill, Angel Meadow School provides specialist education for pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). With many of our students possessing EHCPs , Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Alongside this, we also support learners with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, ensuring every young person receives the tailored support they require.
About us:
The school welcomes pupils facing additional challenges, including diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and various other conditions. Many of our students have experienced significant trauma in their early years, necessitating a supportive and therapeutic learning environment.
At Angel Meadow, we recognise that our pupils have unique needs that cannot be effectively managed within a mainstream educational context. Our team of skilled and experienced staff provides comprehensive support alongside a curriculum that is suitably differentiated, fostering both progress and success for each pupil. We are committed to ensuring high-quality provision for all.
